It was probably the best frostbiting
day of the year, but some of the racers apparently decided to go swiming instead
of sailing. And it just didn't seem like the Hangover Bowl without the Bloody
Marys out there. The wind was fairly steady out of the WNW in the 10-12 range
with gusts up to 15 knots. The RC set all the races around the red nun with
the last going out to the Gong and back to the Club. Tim Dawson showed that
he will be the boat to beat for the Spring Series with four well deserved firsts.
He played the shifts like a pro. Peter Greene was relegated to second and Chuck
Allen to third. Garrett Ianellla and Mollie Dawson had good series coming in
fourth and fifth. So next week, let's get Rollie and the Polar Bears back out
on the racecourse.
