December 5: After a week off due to high winds, the fleet had 15 starters and a 16th that tried, but never quite made it. Last year our high water mark was 12 and we only bested 10 twice. And Doug had an excused absence for a silly football game. The wind was a gusty 12-18 out of the west. We had two capsizals before the racing (#99 and #57) and three more during and after the last race (#22, #2, #57). Tim loved the conditions and scored all bullets. Peter was second with Bob third followed closely by newcomer Mark Weiderman. Neil would have been higher had he not finished on the wrong side of the committee boat in race #3 (Geoff correcting himself). No throwout today with racing cancelled after four races. Ask a friend to join us and we will hit twenty boats before you know it.
